anticipating fall break

fall break could be good or bad.... i hope it turns out well.. My back is beginning to hurt so i hope the car ride doesn't completely mess me up. At least i get to see my brother... also, we have a band contest tomorrow. ugh.. its supposed to be windy which makes it hard on the guard. oh well.. I am going to vegas!!! how awesome is that?

fall break

for fall break i went to vegas! I got to ride in the car for a total of 44 hours! luckily i was with cameron so it was not horribly boring. I also got lots of family time. yay! I got to see my brother for the first time in quite a while. cameron and i got to roam the strip all by our selves and it was awesome. saxon got announced in from of the campus as a band member. My Vegas experience was awesome, but i am glad to be home again.

Gym Meets

I have my first gym meet on November 16th. If anyone would like to go to one of my meets just let me know! I can get you free tickets to my home meets, and give you directions. The home meets are in Bartlesville. At the meets you will get the chance to see what real athletes are. :) Also, you will see tons of amazing tricks. Stuff you can only imagine doing. They usually last around 4 hours, and start about 6. I also have some meets in Tulsa, and one at Jenks. I can get you the dates for those when i find out. Please come and support my awesome team if you can!

College

I finally found out when i am signing with the University of Arkansas! November 11th. It's gonna be amazing. Has anyone else looked at any schools? I would love to know where anyone else has chosen to go, or who they are looking at. Also, what are you planning on studying?

Arkansas!

The Arkansas Razorbacks may be having a rough year on the football field, but for the gymnastics team it is looking quite different. With the new season about to begin, the girls are training extra hard. With the new additions to the team, Genny, Jamie, Mahria, and soon Alyssa, the team will be extremely strong. Also, the team only has one senior, so its a fresh bunch of girls ready to compete. Last season, they finished high in the rankings, but hope to improve this year. Super Six is the main goal. I think they will accomplish this goal very easily, and be able to go for the championship in just a couple years.

The Collinsville Crimison Cadets took first place in the Glenpool Contest last Saturday. They won all seven of the possible awards, and therfore took home seven trophies. The trophies were for outstanding drummajor, outstanding band, outstanding drumline, best guard in class, outstanding guard, 1st in class, and sweepstakes (best band in entire competition).

They are hoping to continue their success at the OSSAA contest, and then go for the title at OBA!
